We're a music venue and D.I.Y. radical space run by an anti-hierarchical collective of volunteers from the greater San Diego and UCSD student communities. Together, we facilitate events, meetings, plays, book clubs, flea markets, drag shows, movie nights, and whatever else people are interested in. We also have a vegan kitchen we're trying to get up and running again.

Come to our collective meetings every Monday at 7:00 PM! We hold hybrid meetings, so you can either come to the space (1000 Scholars Drive South in La Jolla, CA - see below) or join us on Zoom (ID: 855 962 420, password: CheLife). We operate by consensus, so by attending a meeting, your voice has power within the collective.

If you've heard about Study Hours...
As of Fall Quarter 2021, the Ché is open for daytime hours - Monday through Thursday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We have tables, chairs, hand santizer, and a zine library to page through when you want to procrastinate.
If you've heard about Music Appreciation...
Come listen to music with us on Zoom every Wednesday at 7:00 PM (ID: 855 962 420, password: CheLife). Bring the names of a couple of your favorite songs, too - all genres welcome.
If you have some other cool idea...
Come to a meeting! We are very open to new uses for the space, and the more members we have, the merrier.
