Hostelling International Art Exhibition

Sunday, July 3rd

Hostelling International Downtown San Diego
is proud to begin a new monthly event in our hostel called:

"Hostel Takeover: A celebration of art, culture, and travel."

The gist is to help support local artists by providing them with a venue to exhibit their work. Every month we will feature artists of any medium. Studio artists are welcome to leave their work on our walls for the rest of the month in an attempt to sell their work to an international audience. We are a non-profit organization and want to make it very clear that all money from art sales go directly to the artist 100%. Our goal is to be able to open our doors to the general public of San Diego so that they can be aware of what a hostel is, where they exist in San Diego, and to possibly refer friends and relatives in the future.
This month we will be featuring:

 Jona Tellez-Giron
Audience [aka Bobbi Koeller]
a performance by Falling Trees
and accompany their visual art with Vegan/Vegetarian food

You may recognize Jona's art from the walls of the Che' Cafe'. We will also be serving the killer vegan nachos the Che' Cafe' has posted in the recipes section.
